Daniel and Ree get engaged!

Well we suspected as much but Daniel hit Ree up with the big question whilst in New Zealand :)

So we had a lovely night celebrating Saturday night at the Darwin Trailer boat club.   The wedding will be around the middle of next year!

Awesome news.

Daniel's graduation

Daniel has completed year 12 and we celebrated with him and the rest of the grade and parents and teachers at the waterfront tonight.

Daniels QLD trip

Daniel went with Ree-ann to Harvey Bay for Ree-ann's sisters wedding.  They were there November 12-24 so it was a good trip.  As well as spending a lot of time with Ree-ann's family he got to see some of the Thomsens at Maryborough including Paul's cousins Michael and Leeanne, and Scott and Kim.

Daniel's 10th birthday

We celebrated Daniel's 10th birthday at the water park at Lake Leanyer today.

Quite a few of the family were able to join us including a lot of cousins which was nice.

Dad bought Daniel a hunting knife and he loved it so much he wouldn't be seen without it for the next few days - he even cut his birthday cake with it.

 

Fishing from Dundee Beach

Took the suzuki down to Dundee and had a nice time fishing from the beach with the kids.

Danny had quite a struggle to pull in a shovel-nose shark by himself!

Daniel Victor Thomsen was born on Monday the 31st of January, 1994.  Paul and Gwenny were aged 26 at the time.
