A new car for Gwenny

This really is a new car unlike the old landrover.  Its a Ford Focus hatch.  We bought it on a Novated Lease through Paul's work.  Hopefully a good little runabout for Gwenny for years to come.  As a surprise Paul later got the custom number plate "GWENNY" for it.

Gwenny of to Brisbane to help with wedding preparations

Shannon and Rosanna's big day is only 2 weeks away now and Gwenny has joined them in Ipswich to help get ready etc.  Paul and the boys (and Ree-ann) will be joining them in another week.

Gwenny to the Hillsong "Colour" conference

Gwenny went to the "Colour" woman's conference in Sydney with Jessie, Rochelle and Suzy and had a good time.  Was also a bonus to catch up with her daughter of course!  Rosanna attended for most of the conference as it was only a short trip from Brisbane.  Dates were March 6-10.

Gwenny's 21st

Gwenny and Graham had their 21st at Colin and Dorothy's place at Humpty Doo.  It was held outside in Colin's partially finished but perfectly usable shed.

Gwenny and Graham celebrated their 18th birthday this year at Rob and Jessie's old house (which became the office for their business later).

Paul was living with his Uncle Peter and Aunty Wendy at this time and as they knew the Pattemores through church they attended the celebrations.  Paul had only just started living out there and didn't know many people - he recalls thinking that the girl was pretty cute!

Gwenny starts University

At the start of 1986 Gwenny began her 4 year Bachelor of Teaching at the Northern Territory University (later Charles Darwin Uni).  She was 17 at the time and had completed her Matric (Year 12) at Darwin Highschool the year before.

Gwenny gets her wisdom teeth removed

Not sure on exact date but sometime when Gwenny was aged 16 she got her wisdom teeth removed.  She remembers being very uncomfortable and gagging with all sorts of padding down her throat as she was recovering.

It was fortunate for Paul that Gwenny lost a bit of her wisdom so he could talk her into marrying him when he did.

In 1981 both Paul and Gwenny started highschool..  Paul went to Dripstone, not far from their place in Wanguri.  Gwenny attended Darwin High School and was currently living at Stuart Park.
