Sam and Cloe tie the knot

Sam and Cloe were married today at the beautiful location of Coomalie Creek.  The church campsite has a special meaning to Sam and his family as they grew up there for some time whilst his father John Pattemore was alive.

A funny moment when Paul failed to beat the timer on his camera despite a mad dash to the crowd

Steve and Leoryah's wedding

We celebrated the wedding of Stephen Ezzy to Leoryah today at the Community Church in Millner.  Jessie and Tanya helped me with photos (http://wildfoto.smugmug.com/Weddings) but it was very wet!  We tried a few places such as Nightcliff and the old Post Office in the city and got a few keepers.

Jessie's 50th

We had a great time on the harbour sunset cruise celebrating Jessie's 50th birthday.   All the family came along and it was a big crowd on the boat.  We got on at Stokes Hill Wharf and cruised around into Fanny Bay watching the sun set and having a nice dinner.

Rachel Ezzy tragically killed in car accident

Peter and Joy tragically lost their oldest daughter in July 1989 when their car lost control and rolled over on the Victoria Highway near Timber Creek.   They had their whole family in the car but no one else was seriously hurt.

Paul and Gwenny were at Gwenny's parents replace when Gwenny got the call from Joy.  Her parents were at the Darwin Show for the day.  Paul has always regretted the advice he gave Gwenny to wait until her parents got home and to tell them before telling others.  He didn't consider that they might need help to get home etc.  When the rest of the family found out later that afternoon after he had told her parents they contacted Joy and then went down to get the family and bring them home.

Rachel was aged 10 at the time.
